About Rocket Effect
Rocket Effect, (referred to as “Rocket Effect”, “us”, or “we”) offers a variety of services, including email and digital marketing, lead generation, and customer relationship management, primarily to small businesses and non-profits. Our services assist customers in creating and distributing email newsletters, sharing them on social networks, managing contact lists, and tracking campaign performance. We act as a service provider, processing data on behalf of our customers, and do not establish direct relationships with the recipients of these communications (“Contacts” or “you”).
Collection of Customers’ Contact Data
Contact Data Provided by Our Customers
Our customers upload contact information (e.g., email addresses, names, demographic data) into their Rocket Effect accounts to utilize our services. They are required to obtain permission before adding email addresses to their lists. Rocket Effect does not share or utilize these contact lists for its own purposes.
Contact Data Provided by You
Rocket Effect may collect your contact data in several ways:
If you sign up for emails from our customers.
If you register for an event held by one of our customers.
If you submit your email address through a customer’s service.
We collect and hold this data on behalf of our customers, who should be contacted for any queries regarding the use of this data.
Use and Sharing of Customers’ Contact Data
We utilize and share data collected from email interactions (e.g., email opens, clicks, subscription changes) with our customers to help them optimize their campaigns. We also use this data to improve our services and ensure compliance with privacy laws. We do not email contact lists for our own marketing purposes. Data may be shared with service providers to enhance our services, provided they comply with privacy regulations.
Customer Contact Targeting
We offer features to help customers better target their contacts. This may involve partnering with third parties to provide additional data about you (e.g., demographic information, shopping histories). Customers must comply with privacy laws when using this data.
Choice/Opt-Out
All marketing emails sent through our platform include options to unsubscribe or update preferences. If you receive unwanted emails, you can report them to abuse@rocketeffect.com or crm-abuse@rocketeffect.com.
Requests Related to Your Personal Information
Rocket Effect acts as a data processor, handling data on behalf of our customers. Customers are responsible for addressing data subject rights requests. For such requests, please contact the customer who sent you the communication.
International Data Transfers and Privacy Frameworks
Rocket Effect complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, UK Extension, and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We are committed to protecting personal data transferred under these frameworks and adhere to their principles.
