Background
Octane Raceway opened in 2003 in Scottsdale AZ, featuring America’s only full time indoor and outdoor track and karts that go 45+ MPH. Octane Raceway is open 363 days a year for public & corporate events. From traditional conference rooms to more intimate break-out spaces and lounges, Octane Raceway is a unique meeting and entertainment destination for 10 to 500 people.
The Raceway is complete with all the provisions that are found in a full conference facility, including full catering and bar service. Octane Raceway sees itself as a one-of-a-kind, sophisticated, world-class karting facility. It often welcomes celebrities & professional racing guests, as well as organizations such as GoDaddy, Insight, Southwest Airlines, Honeywell, Intel, Sprint, the Oakland A’s and the Phoenix Suns.
The Problem
Octane was expanding their business and investing large amounts of capital into their location. In order to help scale their investment, Octane realized that they needed a strong digital presence to increase their exposure and generate excitement about the venue. Octane didn’t have a strong web presence or a digital brand profile to match their ambitions. Additionally, there were a number of features Octane wanted to accompany the website. This included launching Virtual Reality rooms, which was expected to be very popular.
